History　　
Great Wall Mutianyu is located in the huairoudistrict ,about 70 kilometres from the Beijing city .It was connected the Juyongguan Great Wall at the west and Gubeikou at the east .Originally built in 1404 , the Great Wall here rebuilt strongly when general Qi jiguang commanded here (1569).Today the Wall we see was renovated in 1980.

The Mutianyu Great Wall tourist area is surrounded by mountains,beautiful scenery .In spring , all kinds of flowers are in blossom with different colours;in Summer ,green trees are all over ,water flows ; in Autumn,leaves turn red ,yellow and the fruits are ripe ; in winter ,the mountain is covered with snow with a northland scenery,enjoy‘ the Great Wall in China Mutianyu alone beautiful’ in the world.　　
Vegetation coverage now in Mutianyu Great Wall amounts to 96% ,this large area of vegetation is not comparable by any parts of the Great Wall.
　　
The Mutianyu Great Wall has double-sided crenel. Other section of the Great Walls only has singl-sided crenel,which tells the importance of the Wall in this section.　　
The so-called ‘branch Great Wall’ was built at Mutianyu section .The ‘branch Great Walls’ were built on the top of the mountain ridge areas at the strategic positions inside or outside of the Great Wall .
　　

The Great Wall Mutianyu section is regarded as the most beautiful in scenery among other sections. It is less tourists here .If you do not want to visit the Great Wall with full of tourists, visiting here is good option.
